Summer Kids Fest supports local children’s hospice

Wednesday 28 June 2017

This summer, Proud Country House at Stamner Park has a host of fun events lined up, guaranteed to entertain kids of all ages, and all ticket profits will be donated to Chestnut Tree House.

Just a stone’s throw from central Brighton, the 18th century Georgian Manor House will host ‘Summer Kids Fest’ from 1 July–17 September, with ProudCountryHouse_Big tree climbingclimbing lessons from The Big Tree Climbing Company, woodland crafts with Nature Tots, Black Cat interactive treasure hunts and workshops with Circus Allstars.

There will also be a marquee packed full of rainy-day activities, including hip hop dance classes, kids’ yoga, pottery and puppetry.

Rebecca Weller of Proud Country House at Stamner Park said: “Our Summer Kids Fest is a not-for-profit event, and we’re delighted to be supporting Chestnut Tree House by donating all ticket profits to them this year.

We chose Chestnut Tree House as it’s a local charity and offers such vital care and support to children with life-limiting conditions – we know that they rely heavily on charitable donations and really hope we can make a significant contribution this summer.”

Vicky Norman, Corporate Fundraiser at Chestnut Tree House said: “We are delighted that Proud Country House have chosen us as their charity to work with this summer and would like to thank everyone involved for their support. The events they have planned sound amazing, and I’m sure kids of all ages will enjoy them.”

Booking is essential and prices start from £5 per child.
