West Dean College hosts networking breakfast

Thursday 28 September 2017

Networking_WestDean3The Old Library at West Dean College, Chichester was the latest venue to host a networking breakfast for Chestnut Tree House, encouraging local businesses to get together to network and learn more about the work we do.

Derwyn Jones, Chairman of the Board of Trustees at Chestnut Tree House introduced the CEO of West Dean College, Alex Barron, and Linda Perry, Director of Children’s Services at Chestnut Tree House.Networking_WestDean2

Alex welcomed guests to West Dean College and outlined the history of the Old Library, and Linda gave a moving account of the care provided by Chestnut Tree House and how the community nurses support children and families in their own homes.

“We meet such a great range of people at these events, and it’s encouraging to see so many people keen to support the work that we do. It’s really important to us to reach out and spread the word about the specialist care services that we offer, both at the hospice and in families’ own homes.

Networking_WestDean4Mark encouraged guests to find out more about the vital work of Chestnut Tree House and offer support so that the charity can continue to care for local children with life-shortening conditions and their families.

We would like to thank the guests that attended the West Dean College networking breakfast. Our next breakfast is taking place at Hydro Hotel in Eastbourne on Thursday 16 November.
