Snowman Spectacular online auction goes live

Saturday 4 November 2017

Online Auction now live – closes at midnight on 2 December 2017

Our tenth Snowman Spectacular Fundraising Ball is taking place on Saturday 2 December at the Hilton Brighton Metropole.

Taking its inspiration from The Snowman™, the picture book illustrated by Chestnut Tree House Patron, Raymond Briggs CBE, the Snowman Spectacular Ball hopes to raise as much as possible to help us continue to provide specialist care for life-limited children in Brighton & Hove, East and West Sussex, and South East Hampshire.49517 E3] Snowman Ball 2017 final logo

Sarah Arnold, Head of Fundraising at Chestnut Tree House said: “We are so incredibly grateful to Raymond Briggs for allowing us to feature The Snowman in our Fundraising Ball for the last 10 years. The iconic story is loved by many, but the themes and emotions particularly resonate with us and the children and families that we care for.

“The young boy in The Snowman story gets to experience the most amazing adventure, but then he loses his new friend. But, when you think of The Snowman, it’s not the sad ending you remember. It’s the happy times they have together and this is very much what Chestnut Tree House is about – providing wonderful care, experiences, and precious memories of happy times together.”

Tickets have sold out for The Snowman Spectacular Fundraising Ball, but there is still a chance for people to show their support and get involved as the Snowman Spectacular Online Auction is open to everyone.

Cap Maison 1The online auction is open throughout November and closes at midnight on Saturday 2 December, during the Fundraising Ball.
