Chestnut Tree House opens its pop-up Christmas shop in Arundel

Thursday 9 November 2017

The Chestnut Tree House charity shop in Arundel has opened a pop-up Christmas shop.  Manager, Maryanne Mills, Assistant, Boodie Ellison, and their team of volunteers, have been busy getting festive and filling the shop with gifts, stocking fillers, Christmas hats and jumpers and lots of other seasonal goodies.

Manager, Maryanne Mills, says, “We have created a Christmas grotto full of hidden treasures.  Come in and have a look, get some lovely festive gifts whilst supporting your local children’s hospice.”

The Christmas shop is based in a separate building, next to the main shop in Crown Yard Mews, and is open Monday to Saturday, 10am to 4pm, from Thursday 9 November until Christmas.  The shop will also open late on Saturday 2 December, as part of Arundel by Candlelight, and will be holding a Big Bear raffle on the day.

The main shop next door, is open Monday to Saturday, 9am to 5pm, and continues to stock its usual items of high quality clothing, designer labels and a number of new items too. It also sells small pieces of furniture, books, vinyl, DVDs and small electrical items.   Maryanne and her team are always grateful for donations of good quality items and can arrange collection of larger items if needed.
