Sunday 12 September 2010 will see the 7th anniversary of the Chestnut Tree House 10k, and this exciting event is continuing to grow. Last year saw 1,000 runners complete the 10k route along Littlehampton seafront, raising over £42,000 for Chestnut Tree House, and this year promises to be bigger and better. With your help we can really make a difference to the lives of the children and families that use Chestnut Tree House.

New for 2010

We have made some exciting changes for this year's run. We have introduced an exclusive VIP Running Prize for the top individual fundraiser to thank our runners for raising as much sponsorship money as they possibly can. The winner will receive an exclusive VIP runners package of a pair of specialist running shoes, generously donated by Brooks 'The World's Finest Running Shoe, since 1914' and a chance to test them out with a place in the BUPA 10,000 in May 2011. To qualify, the deadline for submitting sponsorship money is 25 October 2010.

We will also have a brand new team of professional photographers on hand to capture the event. Studio IV specialise in sports events, lifestyle, fashion and conceptual photography for advertising, design and corporate clients, so make sure you are wearing your best smile as you cross the finish line! Photos will be available for £8.50 one week after the race at www.studioiv.co.uk, and 40% of the profits will be donated to Chestnut Tree House.

You will also be able to get your medal engraved by A.M Trophies of Worthing, for just £2 after the race. Why not check your time on our brand new live timing screens, made possible by our new chip timing system, and have it engraved on your medal? Best of all, 50% of the proceeds will be donated to Chestnut Tree House.

Once again our run will be marshalled by both professionals and volunteers and there will be water stops conveniently placed along our route. And you never know, you might even spot a few celebrities...

How to enter

The run starts at 9.30am on Littlehampton seafront and is an official UK Athletics Affiliated race. It is open to anyone over 15 years old and costs just £8 for affiliated runners, £10 in advance or £12 on the day.

Remember to bring your runner number along on the day to pick up your timing chip.
