Overnight short breaks care

There are six bedrooms where we provide care for our younger children aged between 0 and 12 years. Each bedroom is individually decorated to appeal to children and equipped with a range of entertainment and special equipment including hoists (a legal requirement) to assist our care staff in helping the children in and out of bed.

Our Young Peoples' Wing consists of four bedrooms and the lounge which have been designed to accommodate the particular needs and lifestyles of the young people whom we support. We understand that they need their own space, facilities and identity and independence. They have their own lounge and kitchenette, as well as adapted en-suite bathrooms with tracking hoisting.

We have eight family bedrooms - six doubles and two singles - all accessible by a lift. They have en-suite facilities and we have a fully adapted bathroom equipped for disabled use. The families also have their own lounges and kitchenette, as well as the superb decked balcony overlooking the garden for relaxation and enjoying the stunning views across the Downs. We care for the whole family and their stay at Chestnut Tree House gives them the opportunity to rest and relax in the knowledge that their child is being looked after downstairs by our Care Team.
