Chestnut Tree House 10k Coastal Run
Littlehampton Seafront

Registration is now open for our exciting Chestnut Tree House 10k Coastal Run once again generously sponsored by Thesis Asset Management plc. Sunday 12th September 2010 will see the 7th anniversary of our Chestnut Tree House 10k and this exciting event is continuing to grow. This year, we hope to raise even more and with your help we can really make a difference to the lives of the children and families that use Chestnut Tree House.

We have also made a few exciting changes. We are delighted to announce that we will be using a chip timing system to make sure all our runners get an accurate running time. There will even be a viewing screen available when you finish the race for instant access to your running time. Once again our run will be marshalled by both professionals and volunteers and there will be water stops conveniently placed along our route.

The race starts at 9.30am on Littlehampton seafront and is an official UK Athletics Affiliated race. The race is open to anyone over 15 years old and costs just £8 for affiliated runners, £10 in advance or £12 on the day.

Bounce-a-thon
Worthing Leisure Centre, 8am to 6pm

Sussex Martlets Trampolining club are holding a 10 hour sponsored Bounce-a-thon to raise money for Chestnut Tree House, and it's also a great opportunity for everyone to try out trampolining. Cost is 50p for five minutes, £1 for 10 minutes and £1.50 for 15 minutes. There will also be face painting, cake stall and a raffle, with 10% of proceeds going to Chestnut Tree House. 50th Anniversary of this local stable - opening their doors to the public.

Teams of four are invited to bring their best clubs and try to out drive, out putt and out chip each other to victory. With a range of tee-times on offer and all profits from the entry fees going to support Chestnut Tree House children's hospice and dizzy. It costs just £180 for a team of four to enter and you'll be fuelled for the day with a bacon roll and coffee on arrival. After the day's sport is over, there will be a 3 course meal to satisfy courseweary appetites. Chestnut Tree House is delighted to be the beneficial charity for the Stanmer Stagger, organised by the Brighton & Hove Estate Agents Association. Register now for a 5 mile multi-terrain run in the beautiful setting of Stanmer Park and Woods and raise money for Chestnut Tree House. Come along and enjoy a full day of stream-driven fun. We will be firing up both of our recently refurbished boilers and running the famous No 2 Beam Engine all day long.
