Sussex 100 is back for a third year! On Sunday 25 September, cyclists will take to the roads of East Sussex on a scenic but challenging sponsored ride.

This year due to growth of the event, the cycle will begin at Plumpton Racecourse situated in Lewes. With a train station within walking distance and plenty of free parking at the venue itself, Plumpton Racecourse provides an ideal spot for riders to bring along their families and friends to cheer them across the finish line!

Cyclists can choose between a 32km, 66km or 103km distance, raising vital funds along the way that will pay towards care services for children and families supported by Chestnut Tree House. Download a route overview map on the right hand side to see the elevations.

The entry fee for the event is £35 per person which covers the cost of putting on the event.

Have you got the pedal power to help pay for care for local life-limited children at Chestnut Tree House?

We are currently caring for over 300 children across East and West Sussex and South East Hampshire, but our goal is to reach every life-limited child in Sussex – and you can help make this possible by raising awareness and sponsorship by taking on your own personal challenge for Chestnut Tree House!

Start/finish chip timing

Our ride will operate a professional chip timing system with both start and finish mats to ensure all cyclists get an accurate ride time no matter which wave you ride in. The event will be supported by a friendly and professional event team and there will be refreshment stops conveniently placed along the way for riders to refuel. The route is fully signposted and on open roads with full back up support.

If you have a story for the media about why you’ve signed up to the Chestnut Sussex 100, please email us to tell us all about it.
