Information about our services for patients and families. Our care services
One of the ways individual fundraisers can raise charitable donations for local hospice care services is by taking part in Activity4Charity.
It’s that time of year again, time to think about getting into that summer swimwear! However, this year you can do it whilst raising £s for Chestnut Tree House at the same time!
We are delighted to be an official beneficiary of Activity4Charity, an online challenge to encourage everyone to get fit and healthy, whilst raising money for charity.
From Monday 2 June until Sunday 13 July 2014, challenge yourself to walk, run or cycle 10,000 steps each day, the equivalent of seven marathons! It’s the perfect way to get into shape and into the habit of fitting a little bit more exercise each day into our busy lives.
It’s great for corporate team-building and groups of colleagues as well as individuals. You can form online teams, and there are online leader boards to see how you are all doing.
Simply go to www.activity4charity.co.uk and register to take part. You can opt to raise money for Chestnut Tree House at this stage.
The team at Activity4Charity will send you a high accuracy pedometer for you to wear or carry, which has a USB port that enables you to upload your achievements each day to your PC and the online community.
You will receive lots of motivational support from the Activity4Charity team. You will also receive support and fundraising advice from the team here at the hospice. Just give us a call on 01903 871820, or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
However you choose to clock up your steps, you’ll know that with each one, you’re taking us one step closer to caring for every life-limited child in Sussex, so thank you.
