The courage and ambition of our children and families inspires us on a daily basis and drives the team to provide the special care that they do. We do all we can to provide the best quality support to children, young people and families. Making sure that our care is tailored to individual needs.

We’re committed to creating lasting memories for families and young adults. For staff this means that every day is varied and incredibly rewarding as we get to know our children and families. People often worry that hospices are sad places, but they are vibrant and full of life.

Working for Chestnut Tree House isn’t like other jobs

Our services are designed to help children and families to live well, helping them to participate in activities and to have fun. We have a high level of care, supervision and attention to the children we’re caring for. We ensure that the time we spend with children and families is bespoke, tailored to their needs and ensuring children get to choose what they would like to do.

What sort of roles are needed at the hospice?

We're always on the look out for enthusiastic, talented healthcare professionals. Could you be part of our team?

Most roles are both within the hospice itself and in the community. They include specially trained nurses, healthcare assistants and nurse associates who work with families in their own homes, and specialist nurses who assess children’s needs and give support and advice on things like managing symptoms.
