Retail Assistant Shop Manager – Havant

Hours: Minimum 22.5 hours per week (3 days out of 7, Monday-Sunday, inc Bank Holidays)
Salary: £14,940 pa pro rata + performance related bonus (22.5 hrs = £8,964 pa)

As an Assistant Manager, you will bring superb retail and customer service skills, visual creativity and a flair for fashion and a knowledge of furniture.  This role is based in Havant at our most successful Chestnut Tree House charity shop.

Responsibilities include: Delivering excellent customer service, assisting in managing a team of staff and volunteers, stock control, visual merchandising of all departments including furniture, daily cash handling and banking, ensuring the staff, volunteers, the shop and the site are safe and secure. Responsibility for all aspects of the business in the absence of the manager.

Location: The post is based in Havant, but involves regular travel to the hospices, Retail Distribution Centre and to other shops in West Sussex. The role may involve managing and supporting in other shops as requested.
