Thank you for your interest in working for Chestnut Tree House children’s hospice. We have a range of jobs available at the hospice and in our charity shops which we regularly have vacancies for, covering East and West Sussex.
Reporting to the Retail Warehouse Manager you will be part of a distribution team dedicated to providing an excellent delivery/collection service to the Hospice shops and for customers across East and West Sussex and S.E. Hampshire.
Collection and transfer of stock, furniture delivery, basic maintenance, some stock sorting and PAT testing of electrical appliances (training provided). Delivering excellent customer service to shop managers, customers and donors. Working in a manner that ensures the security and safety of customers, staff, volunteers and the shop premises.
Experience of working in a customer contact driving role with possession of a clean driving licence is essential.
You will be energetic and capable of lifting and moving large items, especially furniture on a regular basis. Some knowledge of Trading Standards and Health and Safety requirements would be an advantage but full training will be given.
