Give the dog a bone… and donate to charity

Companies large and small donate to Chestnut Tree House, and in a variety of different ways.

After noticing a number of their customers regularly asking to purchase bones to give their dogs, Bramptons Butchers in Brighton’s Kemp Town decided to set up a collection tin, asking people for donations for bones.

Bramptons ButchersBramptons Butchers have been supporting Chestnut Tree House in this way since 2006, and have raised a staggering £9,714 by asking customers to donate money in return for bones to give their dogs.

Jo Smith, Community Fundraiser at Chestnut Tree House said: “We are so grateful to Bramptons Butchers for their support over the last 11 years. This donation initiative seems to have been extremely popular with their customers, and we love seeing businesses think outside the box when it comes to fundraising.

“The money they have raised will make a big difference, and help us to continue supporting local children with life-shortening conditions and their families.”
