For the month of September Chestnut Tree House has been the charity partner of Lewes FC, allowing them to raise £365.90 for local children’s hospice care.

The charity has enjoyed three charity partnerships with the club, raising a grand total of £665 over the last 3 years. “We always enjoy coming to the Rooks’ matches,” says Community Fundraiser Abigail Harley. “The whole club is wonderfully supportive and it gives us a great opportunity to talk to people in the community about the care we offer local children and families.”

Chestnut Tree House care for children with life-shortening conditions and their families, both at the hospice building near Arundel and in families’ own homes across East and West Sussex and South-East Hampshire. They offer respite, emergency and end-of-life care as well as counselling and bereavement support for the whole family.

Kevin Miller, CEO of Lewes Football Club said: “We are delighted to welcome Abi and the Chestnut Tree team back to the Dripping Pan, our doors are always open. The fans and owners of Lewes FC are always happy to contribute to such an incredible cause, and we are very proud to welcome them back as our Charity partners for September.”
