The costs of all care services on Sunday 18 March 2018 have been paid for by Chris Goodman, Director of Focus Group.
Here is why he has chosen to Pay For a Day:
“The 18th March is my Dad’s Birthday. Sadly he passed away in 2000 leaving a gaping hole in my life, thankfully filled by my wonderful wife and children. Patrick Goodman was someone whose life centred around children, hence I thought it a fitting tribute to pay for this particular day. He spent 30 years as an English teacher and Rugby coach at schools in Sussex and Berkshire. His passion for teaching made him a wonderful teacher and I am lucky enough to have spoken to several parents of the children he taught, who had nothing but praise for the impact his teaching had on their children. If he were alive, he would have undoubtedly taken the opportunity to raise money for Chestnut Tree House, so it is in his honour that I make my own contribution to this wonderful charity”.
Everyone at Chestnut Tree House would like to say a big thank you to Chris Goodman for his generosity and continued support which makes a real difference to the life limited children and families we support.
