Pay for a Day: Temco

Wednesday 28 November 2018

The cost of all care services at Chestnut Tree House on Wednesday 28 November have been paid for by Temco.

Temco is delighted to support Chestnut Tree House and pay for a day’s hospice care. Managing Director James Chapman and his wife Helen have experienced hospice care having lost parents to cancer. James says “Having seen the amazing care my mother received from St Barnabas House it was only more poignant having two young sons to witness the incredible work the staff at Chestnut Tree House provides to children and young adults. In 2015 as part of the CTH Brighton Marathon Team I was invited for pasta and a tour of the facilities which was incredibly emotional but inspiring and humbling to see and this has reinforced our commitment to support this charity. We would like to celebrate the 28th November as a remembrance to my wife’s mother who would have been 69 years old on this day!”

Pay For a Day logoWe have to raise £6,850 every day to pay for a day of care at Chestnut Tree House, provided at the House and in the children’s own homes. It currently costs over £3.9million each year to provide our care services and families are never charged.

A most grateful thank you from the staff, volunteers, families and children at Chestnut Tree House to Temco for their support.
