The cost of all care services at Chestnut Tree House on Monday 17 December have been paid for by Airwave.
James Grant, Marketing Manager said “Early in 2018, we were fortunate enough to be invited to Chestnut Tree House for a tour. We braced ourselves for a sad and ultimately tough experience, but found great strength in the smiling faces and positive attitudes. What a place!
Determined to raise at least enough money to “pay for a day”, we organised a Three Peaks Challenge, experiencing a heatwave and 100-year record temperatures over the course of the 24-hour event. It was a gruelling experience, made infinitely worthwhile by the raising of £8,300 for Chestnut Tree House.
It’s a great honour that we can pay for a day’s costs at this wonderful place.”
We have to raise £6,850 every day to pay for a day of care at Chestnut Tree House, provided at the House and in the children’s own homes. It currently costs over £3.9million each year to provide our care services and families are never charged.
A most grateful thank you from the staff, volunteers, families and children at Chestnut Tree House to Airwave for their support. Find out more about Pay for a Day.
