Are you part of a school or community group? Do you want to have some Reindeer Fun this December? Well, grab your antlers and support children and families in your local community with Chestnut Tree House!
Every December, schools and groups of all sorts grab their antlers to raise money for local families through a variety of events – Reindeer Rambles, Reindeer Dance-Offs and Reindeer Yoga, just to name a few.
Last year, over 50 schools and groups across Sussex and South East Hampshire hopped, skipped and jumped their way through their Reindeer-themed challenges and raised over £60,000 for local families. There were obstacle courses, laps around fields… and even an ice-skating challenge!
“Groups absolutely love being involved in Reindeer Fun. It’s an inspiring and engaging way to get everyone to come together and support local families,” says Jayne Todd at Chestnut Tree House. “Lots of exciting events always take place, and each year we see more variety than the year before!”
Chestnut Tree House are inviting more groups to have some Reindeer Fun in 2019. Whether you want to run, cycle, row, ramble, or come up with your own challenge, Chestnut Tree House will provide lots of useful materials to transform your event into Reindeer Fun, including free reindeer antlers and red noses for everyone taking part, posters, helpful hints and sponsorship forms.
The official sponsors of this year’s Reindeer Fun are the Members of the Lodge of Union 38, a Freemasons lodge based in Chichester. This sponsorship forms part of the Masonic Lodge’s ongoing support, which also includes the donation of a new van earlier this year to enable the Chestnut Tree House fundraising team to travel around Sussex more easily and safely.
Jayne Todd says, “On behalf of everyone at Chestnut Tree House, I would like to say a huge thank you to the Lodge of Union 38 for their ongoing support. Their support means that local families can live For the Now and make precious memories together.”
