Pay for a Day: Willmott Dixon

Thursday 19 December 2019

The cost of all care services at Chestnut Tree House for the weeks of Thursday 19 December 2019 through to Thursday 2 January 2020 have been paid for by Willmott Dixon’s Construction, London & South office.  A day’s care at Chestnut Tree House costs £6,850.

Willmott Dixon has a number of projects spread across Sussex and Hampshire, and have recently opened a new Gatwick office.  They also have a number of people who live with their families in the local vicinity to Chestnut Tree House.  Inspired by the ‘Pay for a Day’ in 2014, Willmott Dixon has continued to support Chestnut Tree House through numerous fundraising efforts for the sixth consecutive year. Inspired by the families who utilise the care services, many of the Willmott Dixon team have built strong relationships with Chestnut Tree House, understanding the difference fundraising makes. The charity remains close to their heart.

This year Willmott Dixon wanted to go beyond the target of a week, and set themselves the challenge to pay for two full weeks.  The company donated £94,000 in 2018 through their Challenge, dress down days, golf days, a sky dive, Littlehampton 10K and the sale of Christmas cards to name just a few.  In addition to this, Willmott Dixon has donated corporate charity bags to stock Chestnut Tree House charity shops, collected active kids vouchers, provided extra support through giving their time to volunteer at the hospice and the warehouse as well as holding a digger day for the children.

Pay For a Day logoWillmott Dixon recently completed their most ambitious challenges to date, scaling the heights of Snowdown with over 250 of their people taking part.

Willmott Dixon would like to thank key supporters from their supply chain and design consortium who helped them achieve their goal.

Thank you so much to everyone at Willmott Dixon from all of us at Chestnut Tree House for your continued support and generosity.
