Two days of Chestnut Tree House’s care have been paid for by the Hilton Brighton Metropole following The Midsummer Ball last June. They chose 19 and 20 June as the 2020 ball was due to take place this weekend.
General Manager, Sascha Koehler said, “We love working with Chestnut Tree House and the other Sussex charities on our annual Midsummer Ball and are absolutely delighted to have been able to contribute towards paying for two days of Chestnut Tree House’s care services.”
Sadly, this year’s event is no longer going ahead, due to the situation around COVID-19. “It was a hard decision postponing this year’s event,” said Sascha, “but we are really excited about next year already!” Watch this space for more details about The Midsummer Ball 2021, which will be on 19 June 2021.
£6,850 needs to be raised every single day to pay for all Chestnut Tree House’s care services, both at the hospice and in families’ own homes and, in these unprecedented times is needed more than ever.
Everyone at Chestnut Tree House would like to say a heartfelt thank you to Sascha Koehler and the Hilton Brighton Metropole for supporting local children and families. Without the generosity of our community, local hospice care wouldn’t be possible – now or in the future. Thank you.
