A ‘wheelie’ great donation for Chestnut Tree House

Thursday 17 September 2020

A big thank you to Cranks bicycle workshop in Brighton, who have kindly donated 12 pre-loved fully serviced children’s bikes to Chestnut Tree House children’s hospice.

Cranks, based in Kemptown, is a volunteer-run community project supporting local cyclists to keep their bikes on the road.

Head of Retail, Jan Harper said: “These bikes are a wonderful donation.  Three of them will go direct to Chestnut Tree House for the children and their siblings to enjoy in the large garden at the children’s hospice. The remaining nine will be sold in our charity shops to raise monies.  What a fantastic donation especially as the sun is still shining”.
