Pay for a Day: Paul and Annette Jones

Friday 16 October 2020

Friday 16 October is Paul and Annette Jones’s Day. A day of Chestnut Tree House’s care has been paid for by Paul and Annette following their Charity Golf Day in 2019, and they selected today as their chosen day.

Paul & Annette Jones SnowdonPaul and Annette are long-term supporters and Patrons of Chestnut Tree House and help us in a variety of ways every year. Sadly, their regular Charity Golf Day in May had to be cancelled due to the pandemic, but this hasn’t curbed their enthusiasm or determination to support local children and families in any way they can.

Last month alone, they took part in our first ever virtual Littlehampton 10k, and took on the challenge of hiking Mount Snowdon to raise vital funds. They also managed to reschedule and adapt their Charity Golf Day so that it could go ahead today in a COVID-secure way.

£6,850 needs to be raised every single day to pay for all Chestnut Tree House’s care services, both at the hospice and in families’ own homes and, in these unprecedented times is needed more than ever.

Everyone at Chestnut Tree House would like to say a heartfelt thank you to Paul and Annette Jones for supporting local children and families. Without the generosity of our community, local hospice care wouldn’t be possible – now or in the future. Thank you.
