A huge and heartfelt thank you to all of you who have supported Chestnut Tree House in any way during October 2020.

From wonderful people, young and young at heart, to clubs, groups, organisations and businesses, here are just some of you who have helped to provide vital children’s hospice care through your recent support. We wish we could mention every single one of you! We are so grateful to everyone who has supported the hospice through these challenging times.

Sarah JouaultWe all send huge thanks to Sarah Jouault, a long term supporter of Chestnut Tree House, who has hand made and donated this incredible wall hanging for the children. As well as this beautiful textile, Sarah also donated £1,200 from an Open Garden event that she hosted before the pandemic.  Thank you so much Sarah for these two very generous gifts!

Congratulations and thank you to Mr and Mrs Beard who celebrated their Diamond Wedding Anniversary in September by supporting Chestnut Tree House.

Rosie and David hosted a socially distanced Family Charity Garden Party for their neighbours raising money for a number of charities, including Chestnut Tree House. Also, their nine year old granddaughter, Bebe, raised £100 selling her loom band creations – well done!

The Living Ministries in Peacehaven made a very generous £250 donation.

Paul and AnnettePaul and Annette Jones raised over £7,000 at their recent COVID-19 secure Golf Day, held at Goodwood. 18 teams took part, along with a variety of celebrities, including Harry Redknapp, Paul Jones, Graeme Souness, and Sir Trevor Brooking CBE. Thank you to everyone who came and supported the day!

Thank you to everyone at Four Marks Carr, who have kindly donated £301.

The BHEAA golf day raised a fantastic £1,250. Thank you to Gold Property Developments for sponsoring the event.

Thank you to all the staff and customers at Turners Pies for their continued support through raising money in their collection tins!

David Langley achieved an incredible 5000 press ups in 12 hours and raised an equally incredible £695.XE.com cyclists

The team from XE.com cycled 62 hilly miles around the Isle of Wight and raised an amazing £2,670 for Chestnut Tree House!

Nanette Bayliss held a magical music evening in her garden and raised a wonderful £620.

Andrea donated her collection of foreign coins and notes amounting to £800.

Carole of Arundel Pilates held her classes online and donated £200 from payments her clients made.

The American Motor Cycle Owners Club (AMOC) event again took place at the Frankland Arms in Washington raising a gigantic £1,167, a huge increase on last year’s event.

St Augustine of Canterbury in Flimwell very kindly donated £50.

Ruby RooNine year old Ruby of Ruby Roo Bakes made chocolate brownies and donated £100 from sales of her delicious bakes.

Lawrence of Central Auto Repairs did odd jobs for his customers and raised over £260.

Wendy raised £100 from sales of plants, vegetables and flowers outside her home.

Thank you to all the wonderful Waitrose stores who have supported the hospice through their Community Matters scheme.

The Sussex Food Awards raised an incredible £2,223.25.

Thank you to all those who attended the Drive in cinema at Wiston House. With your help and support, you raised an incredible £677.45.

The Manchester United Supporters Club in Hastings nominated us to receive a very generous £500 donation from the Manchester United Foundation.

MNC Abseil spinnakerThe Brighton and Hove chapters of the Mumpreneurs Networking Club continued their daredevil support of Chestnut Tree House by abseiling down the Spinnaker Tower!

Thank you to Emma and all at the Concorde2 music venue in Brighton who are lending space for Chestnut Tree House promotional banners outside their doors on Madeira Drive – a great help in our community.

The generous members of Lodge no. 6295 Bognor Regis, led by Robert Costello and Trevor Neve, donated £2,600 in March and have now made another amazing donation of £3,600, enabling us to purchase some vital medical equipment for our Community Care Team. We really appreciate your on-going support.
