Thank you for your support during December 2020

A huge and heartfelt thank you to all of you who have supported Chestnut Tree House in any way during December 2020.

From wonderful people, young and young at heart, to clubs, groups, organisations and businesses, here are just some of you who have helped to provide vital children’s hospice care through your recent support. We wish we could mention every single one of you! We are so grateful to everyone who has supported the hospice through these challenging times.

Natures WayThank you to Natures Way Foods in Chichester who donned their antlers (photo right!) and donated some amazing gifts this Christmas!

Eurovia Group kindly donated £103.

First Central in Haywards Heath raised £8,686 and counting through 2020 with a whole range of fundraising activities.

Gravetye Manor hosted their annual Christmas lunch and raised £740.

Thank you so much to everyone at Mortimer Clarke for their continued support throughout 2020. Your fundraising ideas have been incredible and we value your support so much.

Pentagon Plastics made a generous Christmas donation of £250.

We received a lovely Christmas donation of £200 from Technetix.

The Teddy Bear Run kindly supplied Chestnut Tree House with 30 care packages for our families over Christmas. These included wine, chocolates, teddies and plenty more exciting gifts! We have really missed the teddy Bear run this year and thank you so much for your wonderful support.

Ordinages Lodge of Worthing raised £1,500 to pay for 250 Christmas activity packs for the children and their siblings.

The wonderful staff at Fargro have their continued support this year and made a festive donation at Christmastime!

Staff at Fowle and Company Ltd made a generous donation of £257.

Thank you to all the staff at Homesense and TK Maxx in Chichester for their generous donation of £1,000.

We’re very grateful to all the staff at HSBC who kindly donated £210!

Artemis Telecoms staff with hospice vanThank you to all the staff at Armetis Telecoms (photo left) for their support with Reindeer Fun and their donations of clothes to Chestnut Tree House.

Thank you to the Sovereign Ward and Eastbourne Borough Council for donating £1,000 to pay for activity days at the hospice for children and their families.

Jon, a father of a child cared for at the hospice, held a 24 hour live streaming DJ set raising an impressive £1,200.

We received a very kind donation of £150 from all the staff at Herbert Scott.

Thank you to the Forest Friendly Society for donating £500 this Christmas!

The wonderful team at Sussex Trees in Ardingly raised over £3,700 and counting at their weekends of Christmas tree sales. Thank you for having us there!

Thank you to Blackbrooks Garden Centre in Sedlescombe who raised an incredible £2,608 at their Christmas market.

Thank you to Allan and Jane Marchant from Hailsham, who have raised over £600 with their Christmas lights display.

Chestnut Tree House runners cheeringThank you to every Team Chestnut runner for your continued support in 2020 – you made a difference with every step during a very difficult year! We miss you so here’s to a 2021 with real runs again.

Newly established estate agents James and James chose to support both Chestnut Tree House and St Barnabas House, and raised £1,300.

Festive Illuminations erected hundreds of their sparkling Christmas trees in and around Arundel this year and raised a glittering £300.

Bella of One Stop Party Shop and Jordan of Jordan’s Café, Worthing and Town Crier Bob Smytherman for hosting a special Santa’s Grotto which raised an amazing £340.

More Radio, DPD Crawley and First Central purchased lots of gifts from our Christmas wish lists for the children and their families – thank you!

Synchronicity Group donated a very generous £1,000 for Christmas.

The fabulous team at Barclays kindly paid for all care services on Christmas Eve! We really appreciate all that you do for us.

Our thanks to Ciro and Paul from the Sharnbrook Hotel who raised an incredible £9,635 from their car event. they kindly paid for all the care care services on Christmas Day! What a fantastic achievement!

We would like to say a huge thank you to the whole of Sussex Freemasonry for their ongoing care and support, via many individual masons, different lodges and also through the Charitable Foundation. Not only have they been generous with their financial donations, they have also provided large quantities of PPE, for which we are very grateful.

Midhurst NurseryAnd finally, THANK YOU to all the nurseries, schools, workplaces and groups who held their very own Reindeer Fun challenges and events throughout December. You were amazing! Pictured left are the very festive looking team at Midhurst Nursery!
