Thank you for your support during May 2021

A huge and heartfelt thank you to all of you who have supported Chestnut Tree House in any way during May 2021.

From wonderful people, young and young at heart, to clubs, groups, organisations and businesses, here are just some of you who have helped to provide vital children’s hospice care through your recent support. We wish we could mention every single one of you! We are so grateful to everyone who has supported the hospice through these challenging times.

A big thank you to the amazing Emily R  who jogged over 200 miles raising more than £1000 for us.  Well done Emily, pounding the pounding for £££s!

Kirsty and Finley M got stuck into Captain Tom 100 Challenge walking 100 laps around their local park, which totalled:  62.45km, 38.8 miles and £653.75 to Chestnut Tree House – what an achievement, thank you!

Our grateful thanks go to Partridge Green Churches Together for their very generous Lent collections of £666. Your support is very much appreciated.

Huge thanks to the Seniors Section at Slinfold Golf Club who donated an amazing £2,500 from their Charity of the Year support throughout 2020. We are excited to go another round with you in 2021!

A trunk full of gratitude to Virgin Holidays who continued their own payroll giving scheme called ‘Pennies’ throughout 2020 and raised an incredible £8437.52. With the money raised, they have chosen to Pay for a Day this summer. Thank you all so much for your continued support and for choosing Chestnut Tree House as your charity again for 2021.

Building up the Chestnut coffers are Marcus and Jade from Empire Construction who have taken part in our Bag it and Give initiative with 15 bags full of fabulous items. Each bag, on average can be worth £15-30 through Chestnut Tree House’s shops. Many thanks to you!

Fins are going swimmingly, as Jellyfish digital partners’ Brighton team have kindly made Chestnut Tree House their charity of the year for 2021. They are kicking things off by taking on our Euros Sweepstake. Thank you!

Finally, thank you to everyone who voted Chestnut Tree House as Charity of the Year 2021 at the County Business Clubs virtual awards last month. We were very honoured to pick up the lovely trophy from their Co-Founder Sam T last month and grateful for such support from our communities.
