Thank you for all your support throughout November

We’ve had another amazing month of fundraising from some fantastic local groups and individuals

  • A special thank you to Shirley Arnell who has been collecting her own loose change and regularly donating over the years. Her latest amount of £236.60 brings her to a whopping and impressive grand total of £1153.60.
  • After 12 years together Andy and Ann got married. Lucky enough to already have everything they need for a long and happy life together, they suggested to their family, friends that the best wedding present would be if they donated to Chestnut Tree House. Over £900 has been generously gifted. Wishing you both a very happy future together and thank you.
  • Andy, Grandfather of a child using the services of Chestnut Tree House held a tribute party to everything Mod at the Vardar in Littlehampton. It was a really fun and successful evening raising over £1,200. Huge thank you to Andy, his guests and Lorretta and staff at the Vardar.
  • The residents of the new apartments, Bayside on Worthing seafront have chosen to come together and support their local community. They held a raffle with items donated by the local business and individuals and raised £250. They have ideas for doing lots more activities, so watch this space.
  • Thank you to Brilliant Brighton for inviting us to their event; The Brighton Christmas Lights Switch-On. They hosted a raffle to raise funds for the hospice and, together with donations, we raised a staggering total of £594.58. We also want to say a massive thank you to all of our wonderful volunteers who made the festive event a huge success.
  • A huge thank you to Bramptons Butchers for their donation of £398. This wonderful butchers in Kemptown is a regular supporter who take donations from customers who buy bones for their dogs or to make broth with.
  • Thank you to the captains of West Hove Golf Club, Brighton and Hove Golf Club and Woodingdean Bowls Club for choosing Chestnut Tree House as their Captain’s Charity of the Year.

Thank you to all our Santas!

Thank you to all the participants that took part in the Santa Night iDrop and the supporters that came along to watch, we had an outstanding crowd who cheered and clapped their hearts out. There were some amazing costumes with lots of flashing lights, we even had the Christmas Grinch. You all bravely took on the terrifying challenge of dropping from the i360 and still managed to smile. You have exceeded our fundraising target, raising vital funds for Chestnut Tree House and for that we could not be more grateful, thank you so much.
