Grab your dancing shoes for the Midsummer Ball at Brighton Hilton Metropole on Saturday 25 June 2022 for a Las Vegas-inspired evening full of fun!

The flagship ‘ball of the summer’ will include a delicious three-course meal and lots of Vegas-inspired entertainment throughout the evening, all to raise funds for Chestnut Tree House children’s hospice, and other local charities in Sussex.

We’re incredibly grateful to everyone at the Brighton Hilton Metropole for choosing Chestnut Tree House to be one of the beneficiaries for the Midsummer Ball,” says Hannah Seltzer at Chestnut Tree House. “Without the generosity of individuals, groups and businesses in our community, children’s hospice care simply wouldn’t be possible.”

Speaking about the night, Hannah says, “The live from Las Vegas theme promises a night of glitz and glamour, with live acts, auction and much more – including a Strictly Come Dancing inspired dance act, that Paul Britton from Britton & Time Solicitors is our guest dancer for!”

“It is a real privilege to be asked to be one of the guest dancers at the Midsummer Ball,” says Paul, Managing Director at Britton & Time Solicitors.Dancing is not one of my fortes, however when asked and given the opportunity to help raise money for the charities, I couldn’t say no!”

Paul has little dance experience but is happy to rise to the challenge for Chestnut Tree House children’s hospice, as he considers it ‘his duty’ as a local business owner to support local charities. “Chestnut Tree House gives children who need hospice care and their families the chance to live their lives to the full, and to enjoy life in the limited time that they have,” says Paul.

“Many people don’t appreciate the amount of money that goes into providing hospice care for children and young people, but it costs over £4 million each year to provide all of Chestnut Tree House’s care services. As a local business owner, I feel that it’s my duty to ensure that the community which supports my business is supported in return,” continues Paul. “Any funds I can help raise will help to provide the care that is so vitally needed by the children and families who rely on Chestnut Tree House.”
