2nd time round – Esmae takes on another chop

Nine-year-old Esmae Hill has just chopped off all her hair for the second time in aid of children’s hospice Chestnut Tree House.

At age five Esmae was inspired to donate her hair to Little Princess Trust “to help a child with no hair feel happy again and give them hope.” After being told she could help more children by raising money too, she had a look at other children’s charities and picked Chestnut Tree House because “they are kind and caring and help poorly children.”

Shortly after her first hair cut, Esmae announced she would be doing it again and now, at age nine, she has just donated 17.5 inches of hair to Little Princess Trust, and raised £625 for Chestnut Tree House. Esmae is very happy with the amount she has raised and says “I am excited for Chestnut Tree House to use the money to help lots of children and their families.”

She is already talking about chop number three!
