Our Trustees

Our Board of Trustees are all volunteers. They are responsible for the governance of the charity, overseeing and guiding the work of the Chief Executive and Senior Management Team.

Mark Milling

Areas of expertise: education and finance

Chestnut Tree House Trustee Mark MillingAfter attending Cambridge and Bristol Universities, Mark Milling trained as a chartered accountant at PwC in London. In 1999 he moved to Bristol and into the IT sector, eventually becoming Finance Director of an AIM-listed IT services company.

In 2008 Mark spent a year travelling around Europe with his wife and dogs in a campervan. He then returned to Bristol via Oxford and Henley, and moved into the education sector, before moving to Sussex in 2013. Currently he is Bursar of Lancing College and its prep schools in Worthing and Hove, which he thoroughly enjoys.

He says: “It is an incredible opportunity to become involved with the fantastic Chestnut Tree House and St Barnabas House. These organisations do such important work in the community and it is a privilege to help.”
