Our Board of Trustees are all volunteers. They are responsible for the governance of the charity, overseeing and guiding the work of the Chief Executive and Senior Management Team.
Neil Gatley is a married, family man who has lived in Storrington, West Sussex, for many years. He started his career in the food and pharmaceutical industries, working within Thorn EMI as a Group Personnel Manager prior to establishing his own HR consultancy, supplying advice and guidance to a wide range of employers. A Corporate Fellow of the C.I.P.D., Neil specialises in UK employment law. He is also a qualified and experienced health and safety advisor.
His personal interests include long-distance hiking and cycling, plus keeping up-to-date with developments in science and technology.
Neil is very pleased to to be joining the Board of Trustees and supporting its efforts to prepare for the challenges which lie ahead for the hospice movement.
