What your donation means to our children and families

With the help of kind people like you…

  • it means kids can be astronauts for the day in the multi-sensory room
  • play in the gardens or discover creepy crawlies on a woodland walk
  • relax or splash around in our hydrotherapy pool
  • parents can just be parents, and not carers
  • siblings have people to talk to who understand

Thank you!

Over £5 million is needed every year to provide hospice care for local children and their families. Very little of this comes from government funding, the rest comes from the amazing donations we receive. We couldn’t do it without you. Find out how you’ve helped impact the quality of life by funding exciting activities at the House, and how your donation makes a real impact.

Frequently asked questions about donations

Gift Aid is one of the simplest and most effective ways of giving to charity. It is a scheme administered by the Inland Revenue which allows us to claim an extra 25p for every £1 that you donate – at no extra cost to you. So, for example, if you donate £20 we can claim an extra £5, making your gift worth £25.

You simply need to be a UK taxpayer.

If you already donate to us and want to check that you are gift aiding your donations then please contact us.
