Leaving a charitable legacy in your Will to Chestnut Tree House not only provides personal comfort, but it supports everything the hospice does to help children with life-shortening conditions. We run an annual Will Writing Appeal in October which offers help to people when making a Will.
Our most important source of income is the support and donations we receive from individuals, and gifts in Wills contribute the most.
In fact, the care costs of 1 in every 4 children we support are completely funded by gifts in Wills.
Mr B has generously left a gift in his Will: “It was a lovely feeling when I signed my Will and left the solicitors office knowing that I didn’t have to worry about my estate. I was content that I can continue to help give these special children the best life I can.”
It is thanks to individuals like Mr B that we will be able to provide care in the coming years. Could you be part of this group?
If you are considering leaving a gift in your Will to Chestnut Tree House, or just want a bit more information, we have put together a Legacy brochure.
You can also contact Development Fundraiser, Rosie Last, on 01903 706351 or email Wills@stbh.org.uk if you have any questions.
If you do decide to leave a gift in your Will to Chestnut Tree House, to ensure that any gift you make is secure, then you or your solicitor need to include the following information in your Will:
Our legal name: St Barnabas Hospices (Sussex) Ltd – Chestnut Tree House
Our legal address: Titnore Lane, Worthing, BN12 6NZ
Charity number: 256789
An online book celebrating all those have supported our care through a kind gift in their Will.
We have received a gift from all those included in this book, a bold, thoughtful decision that will help Chestnut Tree House continue to provide dedicated, compassionate hospice care for local children and their families for years to come.
