If you’re looking to donate toys

We appreciate all your offers of toy donations, but many mainstream toys aren’t suitable for most of the children we care for, so we may not be able to accept them.

The best way to help children with life-threatening and life-limiting conditions is to make a donation. It costs over £6million a year to run our services, and the majority of our funding comes from charitable giving. We wouldn’t be able to provide our vital services without your help.

However… There are some toys, gift cards and craft materials that we’d love to receive! Our Activities team have put together a specialist Amazon Wishlist full of the items we’d be excited to receive from you. These items will help us put on messy play afternoons, cosy up and read a story together, or spend time having fun away from the hospice at the cinema or out at local attractions. Please do not send us any toys or products not on our Wishlist.

How to donate toys to a children’s charity

If you do have toys to donate, and want them to go directly to charity – then you can support these other amazing organisations, who may be happy to accept your generous donation.

• The Toy Project (London)

Or, of course you can donate them to one of our Charity Shops to be sold, all profits go directly to the hospice.
