The Brighton Half Marathon 2022 returns to its normal slot of Sunday 27 February 2022. Be a half marathon hero in one of the best half marathons in the south and make a difference for local children’s hospice care with every step.

You feel good while you’re running and even better when you’re finished!

Whether you’re looking to finish your first half or pushing for a personal best, you can be a Brighton Half Marathon hero with Team Chestnut in one of the best half marathons in the south on Sunday 27 February 2022.

From those start line butterflies and finish line highs on the bustling Madeira Drive, the Brighton Half 2022 will take you past the cities iconic Pavilion, around the beautiful Hove Lawns, and back along the stunning seafront for a run that will stay with you.

  • Running Hub: Updated regularly, your Running Info Hub, covers everything from training tips to nutritional advice.
  • Strava Club: A Team Chestnut Running Club, where you can join events and training runs. Maybe find a running buddy too.
  • Training Runs: As the world opens up again, we’ll be looking to start hosting training runs again from August/September 2021.

Brighton Half Marathon route

With an amazing seaside backdrop, Brighton is home to one of the best half marathons in the UK – note that this is the 2021 route map.

Starting along Madeira Driver, the Brighton Half Marathon takes in the vibrant streets of the city, the scenery of Brighton Marina and Hove Gardens, and Brighton’s stunning seafront as you head to the finish.

Where your money goes

£15 – Goes towards a child’s meal, tailored to their specific dietary needs.

£25 – Pays for an arts and crafts kit allowing children to bring out their creative side.

£50 – Means a family can spend a day together at Chestnut Tree House, taking part in a range of fun activities and making special memories.

£100 – Provides a day of care for a child at home, giving parents and siblings the chance to take a much-needed break.

£150 – Allows a family of four to benefit from an overnight stay in one of our Family Rooms whilst their child is cared for.
