At sunset on Saturday 16 May 2020, put on your boots, switch on your torch or wrap yourself in fairy lights and walk under the beautiful night sky of East Sussex. Trek the night and help local children and their families live For the Now.
Castle Night Trek is a 10k sponsored trek through the stunning grounds of Herstmonceux Castle.
Taking part in Castle Night Trek is a great way for you to help local families who know they don’t have long together. Any money you raise helps make a difference and we are here for you every step of the way to make it a great success.
Your registration fee covers the cost of participating in the event, all we ask is that you raise as much sponsorship money as you can to help local children and their families. Your trek will help them make precious memories together and help parents through the difficult time of saying goodbye.
• Strive for £80 and pay for the daily cost of the swimming pool at Chestnut Tree House, as a thank you, you will receive a glow water bottle (forward your sponsorship money by 1 May 2020 for your free gift on the night).
• Reach £285 and provide for one hour of all care services and as a bonus you’ll become a member of our exclusive 200 club and be invited to a celebration evening after the event. (forward your sponsorship money to us by 30 June 2020 to receive your invite)
Please note the minimum age for the challenge is 14 accompanied by an adult.

The Observatory Science Centre is a hidden gem! Located in the former home of The Royal Greenwich Observatory, The Centre has become an outstanding attraction bringing spectacular science to the public in a unique historic setting nestled in the Sussex countryside.
Participants of Castle Night Trek will receive a voucher which entitles up to 4 people to enter The Centre at just £6 per person (terms and conditions apply). The voucher is valid up to the 31 August 2020 and includes the night of the trek for our Stargazing Evening.
The Observatory has opened its doors for the night of the trek, opening at 7pm until midnight. The café will also be open for hot food, drinks and snacks.
