Take on one of the world’s most iconic trekking trails in the World on an exclusive trek with Chestnut Tree House.
Thank you for your interest in our Inca Trail Challenge 2019. Places are currently sold out for this challenge, if you would like to take part in our 2020 Inca Trail Challenge please follow this link.
A team of 55 intrepid trekkers will be taking on this iconic Inca Trail challenge, encompassing three high mountain passes – the highest at 4,200m – as well as hiking through sub-tropical vegetation and cloud forest and summitting snowcapped peaks. The trekking will be tough, but worth it when you reach the unforgettable sight of Machu Picchu.
The trekking will be tough, but this life-changing experience taking place from 1-10 November 2019 will be hard to surpass. Best of all, participants, including our fantastic Patron Jodie Kidd, will be fundraising to pay for all Chestnut Tree House’s care services, both at the hospice and in families’ own homes, for the entire duration of the trip.
Chestnut Tree House cares for local children with life-shortening conditions – giving them the chance to do all sorts of things that kids love doing. These children and families live in the moment, for the now. When you are facing the greatest of challenges, it’s the smallest of moments that really matter – taking time to relax, knowing your child is safe; splashing in the hydrotherapy pool together; talking to one of the nurses who understands exactly how difficult things are.
Expeditions such as these are a fantastic way for people to engage with and support Chestnut Tree House, whilst having the time of their lives!
A life-changing experience for experience for participants can also provide life-changing support for our families.
