A double marathon length walk, jog or run along the South Downs Way, passing numerous historical sites and taking you through some of the UK’s most beautiful countryside.
Now is what life is all about. And we are looking for adventure-seekers to seize the moment and make this the year for taking on a challenge for us.
Race to the King is a double marathon challenge for walkers and runners who are willing to go the extra mile for us – or 52.4 to be exact!
Starting at the Slindon Estate near Arundel, just 12 miles from Chestnut Tree House, you’ll walk, jog or run along the ancient South Downs Way, finishing on the steps of Winchester Cathedral – the burial place of the first Kings and Queens of England.
This is a real endurance challenge, but you will be spurred on knowing that every penny raised will be helping us to help local children and young people with life-shortening conditions. Choose to take on the full distance in one go or opt to complete it over two days, which includes camping overnight on Saturday 22 June.
So make this a year for taking on a challenge. For doing something you never thought you could. For yourself. For local families. For living. For the Now.
If you’ve already secured your own place in the event, you can still run for Chestnut Tree House. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org to request a running vest and and fundraising pack.
