Calling all residents of Brighton and Hove, this year you can get your Christmas tree collected hassle-free in return for a donation to Chestnut Tree House children’s hospice.
What says Christmas more than a real tree standing in your home or office, fully decorated, and filling the room with its fabulous pine aroma? But come New Year’s Day, you have the task of getting rid of it. Where do you take it? Who does recycling? Will it fit in the car? Who will help?
This year, residents of Brighton and Hove can get their Christmas tree collected hassle-free in return for a donation to Chestnut Tree House children’s hospice. Christmas is a busy time for everyone, and this initiative is a great way to dispose of your Christmas tree in a hassle-free and environmentally friendly way, whilst also supporting your local community.
Chestnut Tree House have partnered with Just Helping to collect Christmas trees in Brighton and Hove*. Register by midnight on Sunday 6 January 2021 and we’ll pick-up your tree between Saturday 9 and Tuesday 12 January – easy!
It’s been a tough year for everyone, and our funding has been hit hard. So, a donation, no matter how small, would be greatly appreciated for the collection of your tree.
A donation of £5 could provide an activity pack for a child at home, and £25 could help pay for phone calls to struggling families. Your support makes a big difference. Thank you.

*If you are in the BN3 2 – BN3 6 postcode areas, please register your tree with Brighton and Hove Rotary.
