Easy ways to fundraise

Recycle your Christmas tree

Get your Christmas tree recycled in January, in return for a voluntary donation to Chestnut Tree House.

In early January, across Brighton & Hove, we collected and recycled over 700 trees and raised just over £10,000. We would like to thank everyone who supported the initiative from those who registered and generously donated to have their trees collected, to our amazing volunteers who collected the trees.

THANK YOU!

A Special thanks go to Heritage Products, 1st Central County Cricket Ground, Wickes, Tapi Carpets & Floors, Biffa, Roberts Transport, Arb Bros Tree Services, Lifting & Shifting, Thyme to Garden, Old Village Home & Garden Services, Lamonde Automation Limited, Fargro Limited, Virgin, former BHA FC player Kerry Mayo and Start Communications.

We were particularly grateful to the team at the burger bar in Wickes carpark who kept all the volunteers fed and watered throughout the very cold, wet and windy Saturday at no charge. Well done everyone!

Xmas tree recycling in Bangor

Across Bognor we collected and recycled around 170 Christmas trees raising over £2,300. We would like to thank everyone who supported the initiative from those who registered and generously donated to have their trees collected, to our amazing volunteers who collected the trees and local businesses who helped in many different ways. Special thanks go to Bognor Town FC, Round Top Trees, F&G Transport, Graham Hurren and Sterling Gardeners.

How does recycling my tree for charity work?

We’ll be running the scheme again next Christmas, so keep you eyes peeled for more information later in the year. Simply register your Christmas tree collection on the Just Helping website and we’ll come and collect your tree! When you register you’ll be able to make a voluntary donation to us which will make a big difference to children and families in the local community.
