Remembering a loved one is a very personal thing. Setting up a Tribute Page in memory of a loved one is a special way to remember them and at the same time helping Chestnut Tree House provide care to children with life-limiting illnesses and their families.
Tribute Pages are an online opportunity to honour a loved one’s memory and come to terms with their loss by keeping their spirit alive. It allows you to remember a loved one not only in words but also through photographs, messages, music and videos.
Each individual web page is named after your loved one and allows family, friends and colleagues to raise money in their memory.
A great deal of support for Chestnut Tree House comes in donations that are given in memory of a loved one. Funds raised from these special donations provide vital income for the children’s hospice, allowing us to plan for the future and to continue providing the specialist care children and their families need.
Contributions to a Tribute Page can be made in whichever way you choose. A collection at the Funeral, or donations made in lieu of flowers are often the first contributions. After that, some people organise specific fundraising events and activities. Alternatively, you can make a donation on a significant date, like a birthday or anniversary.
