Jodie Kidd

Jodie Kidd has lived in the local Sussex area all her life, and has recently bought The Half Moon in Kirdford.  Best known as an international model and TV presenter, Jodie has her feet firmly rooted in fashion and fitness, playing polo, golf, and enjoying a successful career as a high-octane Maserati racing driver.

She has done a lot of work for charity over the years, including fundraisers for Help for Heroes and the Special Boat Service Association, and became a 15th birthday Patron for Chestnut Tree House in January 2018. Keen to support a charity that is local to her, she helped launch Chestnut’s Inca Trail Challenge and has committed to taking part in the 10-day trek in November 2019.

We’re delighted that she will also be co-hosting the Chestnut Tree House Business Awards dinner in March 2019 alongside Ambrose Harcourt.

Ambrose Harcourt

Ambrose Harcourt has been involved with Chestnut Tree House from the very beginning, before the hospice was even built.  He was instrumental in raising the £5 million needed to build Chestnut Tree House and raising awareness of the charity’s vital work, caring for life-limited children and their families.  Ambrose is best known as local DJ and celebrity, ‘Mr Lurve’, and is also a PR professional providing consultancy to local businesses and, of course, a life-time Patron of Chestnut Tree House.

“It’s an honour to be invited to host the fourth Chestnut Tree House Business Awards in March 2019 and to celebrate everything that is so exciting about the business community and the support you give to Chestnut Tree House. Many of you come to the Snowman Spectacular Ball In December every year and may represent very different businesses in very different parts of Sussex and East Hampshire but you all have one thing in common – you embody the spirit of enterprise and charity that must be at the heart of Britain’s economic future and the future of Chestnut Tree House for all you do to support us.

“There is no doubt that the entrepreneurial spirit that will be represented at the Award Ceremony can build a bright future for all the companies and individuals nominated as well as encourage others to do something that will engage and engender team spirit in their businesses.

“We need as many nominations as possible from businesses as the Business Awards is our opportunity to say, THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!

“So please get your nominations in and let’s create the conditions in which more businesses can enjoy the success that we will be celebrating in March 2019 at South Lodge Hotel by supporting Chestnut Tree House.

“Thank you.”
