This December, in our 15th birthday year, we are looking for schools and groups of all sorts to hold their own Reindeer Runs to raise money for local life limited children.
Grab your antlers this December and hold your very own Reindeer Run for Chestnut Tree House!
It’s our 15th birthday this year, and we’re looking for schools and groups of all sorts to hold their own Reindeer Runs, and raise much needed funds for their local children’s hospice.
We will give every participant FREE reindeer antlers and a red nose! All we ask is that you raise as much sponsorship as you can, and have lots of festive fun!
Children hopped, skipped and jumped their way through their Reindeer Run 2017 challenge and raised money for Chestnut Tree House along the way.
We had a variety of events in 2017; excited children took part in obstacle courses, laps around the school, Reindeer Rambles, themed PE lessons and even ice skating!
Why don’t you get involved for 2018? Put together your own challenge, whether it is 1 mile or 10 miles, and gather your sponsorship. Previous Reindeer Runs have included assault courses, park runs, relays to reach Lapland and many more!
We will provide you with everything you need to run your event, including posters, sponsorship forms, helpful hints and suggested letters to parents. We will also come and visit you to give an audience appropriate assembly or talk about the hospice.
Help us spread the word about our Reindeer Runs by following Chestnut Tree House on Twitter @ChestnutSussex and using the hashtag #ReindeerRun Tweet us on the day of your event using our hashtag and we will re-tweet your tweets!
Everyone taking part will receive reindeer antlers and a red nose! You will also receive one Santa suit for the teacher/group leader. All we ask is that you have lots of fun and raise as much sponsorship as you possibly can!
To register your interest in taking part, you can also complete this form.
