Information about our services for patients and families. Our care services
At Chestnut Tree House we are always keen to build long term relationships with schools and colleges, helping young people learn about the importance of the hospice care services we provide and at the same time inspiring them to make a difference.
Are you a parent, a pupil or a teacher, or do you have a connection with your local school? We would love to work together with you!
We aim to build long and meaningful relationships with our local schools, which not only help us to fund our vital work, but which also empower children and young people to engage with their community and make a real difference through their education.
We’d love to visit your school to tell pupils more about the work of Chestnut Tree House, either through an assembly, or a workshop. Our specially trained staff will tailor their talk to their audience, and ensure everyone gains a much more in-depth knowledge of what Chestnut Tree House does. To book in an assembly with us, give us a call on the details below, or complete this form.
If you have a fundraising idea for your school or nursery, get in touch with us to chat about it. Or maybe some of these ideas will get your brain ticking…
This December we are looking for schools and groups of all sorts to hold their own Reindeer Runs. Everyone taking part will receive reindeer antlers and a flashing red nose! All we ask is that you have lots of fun and raise as much sponsorship as you possibly can. Find out more and sign up here!
If we give your school £50, will you make it grow? We are looking for schools to take part in our £50 Challenge for Chestnut Tree House, whilst developing essential skills in business and entrepreneurship in a practical, fun and innovative way. Find out more and sign up here!
Hold a mufti day, hold collections and/or a raffle at school concerts and plays, or have a special fundraising stall at Summer and Christmas fetes.
