There are so many ways you can get involved and support Chestnut Tree House


Fundraising Stand Co-ordinator

We need a Volunteer Fundraising Stand Co-ordinator with your own vehicle to transport and co-ordinate charity fundraising stands used for Chestnut Tree House community events.


Why We Want You:

Using your own vehicle to transport, set up, dismantle and take away charity fundraising stands that are used for community events. This will generally mean two journeys in one day.

NOTE – Volunteer petrol and parking expenses can be claimed monthly if required*

What’s In It For You:

An opportunity to be part of an important team, learning about Chestnut Tree House and using your skills to assist our Community Fundraising Team and volunteers.

We will provide you with induction training which will include an Introduction to the Hospice, Health and Safety Awareness and relevant on the job training.

Your Skills/Qualities:

  • Knowledge and sensitivity to the cause
  • A good level of fitness and strength as some of the charity stands items are large and may need carrying a distance from your vehicle.
  • Reliable and good time-keeping
  • Good attention to detail
  • Awareness of own safety whilst completing the task
  • Wearing of identification badge
  • Good communication skills with both staff, volunteers and members of the public
  • Ability to use the phone and have use of a mobile phone in order to have regular contact with the Fundraising team and occasionally other volunteers
  • Flexible, adaptable and willing to work on your own or part of our team
  • A willingness to learn. We will provide guidance and training if appropriate.
  • You will have regular contact with the Fundraising Team


  • Understand the importance of confidentiality.
  • Have any personal grief resolved.
  • You will require a vehicle, *valid insurance and a clean driving license
