Occasional Fundraising Volunteer

Are you friendly, fun and interested in spending a few hours of your time to make a huge difference?

You could be cheering on some amazing runners at the Brighton Half Marathon, selling raffle tickets at a village fair or bucket collecting at a supermarket; there are so many different events you can support starting with just two hours of your time.

Fundraising Volunteer Lead

Are you sociable, self-motivated and enthusiastic and ready for a new challenge?

The Lead Volunteer role is ideal if you can spare some time on a more regular basis. Training is required as we want you to be a confident ambassador for the charity.

Spinnaker Tower abseil

Where: Spinnaker Tower, Portsmouth  spinnaker

When: Sunday 18 April 2021

Roles: Volunteers needed to register our intrepid supporters before they get ready for their challenge!

Shifts between 8am and 1pm and 1pm to 5pm

Where: Herstmonceux Castle, Hailsham, BN27 1RN              castle

When: Saturday 24 April 2021

Roles: Car park marshals  6pm – 1am

Registration and info 5:30pm – 9pm

Route marshals 5pm – 1am

Lead/End walker 5pm – 12am

Route stands 5pm – 12am

Follers Manor open gardens

Follers Manor

Where: Seaford Road, Alfriston, Seaford, BN26 5TT

When: Sunday 27 June 2021, 11am to 4pm

Roles: Gate monitors to welcome and direct,  car park marshals,

Refreshments, serving drinks, cakes and washing up

Tombola stand, garden /pond watch

Water monitor, to replenish water bottles and enable comfort breaks

Last but certainly not least: cake makers!

The Snowman Spectacular Ball

Where: The Hilton Metropole, Kings Road,Brighton, BN1 2FU

When: Saturday 4 December 2021, times to be confirmed

Roles: Volunteers needed for setting up and decorating on the day and various roles in the evening including raffle ticket sellers and auction spotters.

We are looking for volunteers to co-ordinate the placement of collecting boxes around the local area.

Frequency: Weekly commitment of 2 hours maximum
