There are so many ways you can get involved and support Chestnut Tree House

Fundraising Volunteer Opportunities

We are always looking for volunteers to help us at our fundraising events across East and West Sussex throughout the year. If you think you can spare a couple of hours, please complete our enquiry form here, or to find out more about volunteering see our FAQs.

Occasional Fundraising Volunteer

Are you friendly, fun and interested in spending a few hours of your time to make a huge difference?

You could be cheering on some amazing runners at the Brighton Half Marathon, selling raffle tickets at a village fair or bucket collecting at a supermarket; there are so many different events you can support starting with just two hours of your time.

Fundraising Volunteer Lead

Are you sociable, self-motivated and enthusiastic and ready for a new challenge?

The Lead Volunteer role is ideal if you can spare some time on a more regular basis. Training is required as we want you to be a confident ambassador for the charity.

Other volunteering opportunities

In addition to our two main volunteering roles, we also have lots of ad hoc opportunities throughout the year. We are always adding more opportunities, so please check back soon if none of these events are suitable for you.

Reindeer Fun deliveries

Reindeer Fun CTH

We will be promoting our infamous Chestnut Tree House Reindeer Fun campaign again this year and in November will be looking for volunteer drivers to help deliver the boxes of antlers and red noses out to schools, groups and businesses taking part across the region.

Where: East and West Sussex

When: Dates during November

Christmas Tree recycling

Christmas is fast approaching (oh yes it is!) but we are already thinking of January next year and need your help.

From 9-12 January 2021 we are looking for volunteers to help with a new Christmas tree collection and recycling initiative in Brighton and Hove to raise money for Chestnut Tree House. If you, any family members or friends would like to help, we would love to hear from you. It would be especially helpful if you have access to a van or trailer and could work together in a family ‘bubble’ collecting trees from people’s doorsteps across the city.
