Thank you for your interest in working for Chestnut Tree House children’s hospice. We have a range of jobs available at the hospice and in our charity shops which we regularly have vacancies for, covering East and West Sussex.

IT Manager

Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Salary: £46,670 to £54,700 depending on depth and variety of experience in a similar role

Based at St Barnabas House, Worthing

St Barnabas Hospices offers specialist palliative care through two hospices:

St Barnabas House provides palliative care to adults in the Worthing, Adur, Arun and Henfield areas through a range of services, including In-patient Care, Day Hospice and Community Care.

Chestnut Tree House is the children’s hospice reaching across Sussex and South East Hampshire. Providing care and support for children/young people and their families with life-shortening conditions.

We are supporting more people hence our charity has grown over the years.  Our dependence on IT is growing and evolving, there is a need for a talented IT professional who will enable the charity develop a Technology and Digital Strategy for the future.

You will support all areas of the charity including clinical staff, fundraisers, administration, retail, HR and Finance.   Project management of our third party IT provider is also required.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to further their development in their IT career as the role is independent and there is autonomy within the role to create an IT strategy that will enable the organisation to reach more people thus providing more care to people in our community.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and administration skills. You will love giving excellent customer service, and talking to all staff members throughout the charity. You must be target orientated and well organised.

A full driving licence and own transport is essential for this post, as travel between sites will be required.
