Staff Nurse – Paediatric, Adult or Learning Disability


22.5 – 37.5 hours per week available


F.T.E. £27,300 – £32,730 p.a. depending on depth and variety of experience in a similar role

About the role

We’re looking to recruit enthusiastic and passionate paediatric nurses to provide specialist Children/Young People (CYP) palliative care as part of a multi-disciplinary team, working in Chestnut Tree House care team.

The post holder will be responsible for the delivery of high quality, clinical nursing care to children and young people that access Chestnut Tree House inhouse care  The post holder will provide clinical nursing assessment and a broad range of interventions for CYP and be flexible in meeting the needs of CYP with life threatening and life shortening conditions and their families.

It’s an exciting time to join our integrated clinical team and be part of our transformation and development of care services. Chestnut Tree House has an integrated care team, the post holder will also have opportunities to support community care and end of life care in children and young people’s homes.

Chestnut Tree House offers a comprehensive development programme for staff and inhouse training can be delivered to support staff to achieve skills to care for children requiring non-invasive ventilation, invasive ventilation, tracheostomy, enteral care and end of life care. This is a challenging yet rewarding role and requires dedication and commitment to ensure children and young people are at the centre of care.

Due to the remote location and lack of public transport, access to your own transport is essential.
