Thank you for your interest in working for Chestnut Tree House children’s hospice. We have a range of jobs available at the hospice and in our charity shops which we regularly have vacancies for, covering East and West Sussex.
You can also view current job vacancies at St Barnabas House, our adults’ hospice based in Worthing, West Sussex.
Chestnut Tree House is the children’s hospice for East and West Sussex and South East Hampshire, providing specialist palliative care for children and young people with life-shortening conditions.
We are looking to recruit an experienced and enthusiastic staff nurse to provide specialist Children / Young People (CYP) palliative care as part of a multi-disciplinary team, working in Chestnut Tree care team.
The post holder will be responsible for the delivery of high quality, clinical nursing care, support, information, advice and ensuring that appropriate resources are available to provide care for CYP whom access Chestnut Tree House Services.
They will need to be proficient in clinical nursing assessment and a broad range of interventions for CYP and be flexible in meeting the needs of CYP with life threatening and life shortening conditions and their families.
This is a challenging yet rewarding role and requires dedication and commitment to ensure children and young people are at the centre of care.
