Our frequently asked questions
Find out about our shops, refund policies and donations.

If you’re not happy with your item please pop into the same store that you bought your item from within 14 days of your purchase, with a valid receipt.

All our shops accept donations until a safe capacity has been reached due to limited storage space.  Please call the shop before making your journey. Contact details for all shops are on each shop page.

Our warehouse in Worthing is open Monday to Friday from 10am to 3pm, or until safe capacity is reached. This is for reasons of staff and customer safety and limited storage capacity.

Always call the warehouse on 01903 275660 before making your journey to ensure we can accept your donations.

We ask that donors wear masks and maintain safe social distancing to help protect our staff and volunteers.

We can accept clean good quality:

  • Clothes
  • Shoes, handbags, and accessories
  • Games, toys (with CE mark), and puzzles
  • Bric-a-brac
  • Books
  • Furniture (upholstered and soft furnishings must have current fire labels)
  • Electricals (in full working order)

We ask only for good quality items because it costs us money to dispose of unsaleable donations.

  • From 30 November 2021, following Government regulations, it is mandatory for all customers, staff and volunteers to wear face coverings in our shops, unless they have an exemption.
  • Delivery drivers cannot enter a home where someone has COVID-19 symptoms or is self-isolating. If possible, please sanitise all hard surfaces of donated furniture.

Our furniture collection and delivery services can be arranged through our Distribution Centre or through our shop in Havant.

We can only accept furniture that is in good enough condition to sell in our shops.  Our delivery drivers are instructed to turn down unsaleable items.  All donated furniture must comply with Trading Standards, including fire labels where applicable.  Please call us to discuss how best we can help you.
