What’s the role?

Are you sociable, self-motivated and enthusiastic and ready for a new challenge?

The Lead Volunteer role is ideal if you can spare some time on a more regular basis. Training is required as we want you to be a confident ambassador for the charity.

When will I volunteer?

This is a very flexible role and can easily fit around a busy lifestyle. You will receive regular communication with our upcoming events throughout the year where you can choose from as many or as few as you like. You’ll mostly be needed at evenings and weekends, and some events are in the working week.

No previous experience needed! All we ask for is a love of organisation and a willingness to get involved.

We do ask that before you take on the role, that you:

  • Complete an application form and equal opportunities form
  • Have an outline knowledge of the work we do
  • Promote volunteer vacancies within the fundraising team to increase the number of volunteers available to support at events
  • Collect and return our equipment
  • Have your own transport (essential)
